October 2021

The Kent State University Chapter currently has 17 members! As a growing organization we are so excited to have many university students interested in learning to cook! On October 5th the students had a sushi demonstration. On October 24th the members of the Kent State Chapter were invited to the West Side Market in Cleveland Ohio for a tour with the organization founder.

September 2021

The Kent State University Chapter held two meetings this month; the first a homemade pasta demonstration and they had a social outing.

The informational meeting for the Kent State University Chapter will be held in the DI Hub on September 3, 2021 at 7:00pm food and games will be provided. The KSU chapter is looking for a person to fill the Program Administrator position for the 2021-2022 academic year, if you are interested in applying for the position please email chefologykentstate@gmail.com.

 

April 2021

Over the Spring 2021 the Students of Kent State University were able to access the brand new kitchen for cooking demonstrations. The students learned how to make gnocchi, falafel and hummus, and sausage gravy and biscuits! The Advisors for the Kent State University Chapter are Chef Anthony Hamilton and Chef Andrew Eith: both are instructors in the Hospitality Management program.
