Chefology is designed to be an educational and social student organization, where no past experience is necessary. The organization is open to every student, of any major, with any level of kitchen knowledge. Our goal is to education on the fundamental cooking techniques in a safe and social environment.

We take pride in using local and sustainable ingredients as often as possible. By taking trips to local farmers’ markets and farms we are able to create a sense of understanding of where our food comes from. Eating locally sourced ingredients provides students the knowledge of seasonality and gives students a chance to speak with the people who raise or grow the food.

At Chefology we utilize our vast network for guest speakers, demonstrations, and field trips. We encourage students to share their heritage with the group so we may celebrate it through cooking family recipes. Food is the best way to bring people together and to learn about the world we live in.
